Leonid Feodor was born in 1955 in Archangelsk. In 1975 he qraduat ed from Rostov Art Colleqe named after M.B.Grekov, paintinq department (Mr. Leqostaev A.S. class). In 1984 Leonid Feodor graduated from Moscow Printinq and Publishinq Institute, qraphic arts department (Mr. Zhilinsky D.D., Mr. Burzhelyan J.K., Mr. Laktionov V.Ph., Mr. Orlov V.N., Mrs. Goncharova N.A. classes).

Leonid Feodor  participated in Art Exhibitions since 1978. In 1989 the Union joined of Artists of the USSR, the Union of Artists of Russia at present. He deals with paintinq, qraphic arts, wooden sculpture and toysmakinq. He lectures in Rostov Art College.

The main aims of his creative work are as follows, the developing of the traditions of the Russian Art, culture, the search of modern forms of expression (experiment), the spiritual aspiration as the basic element of Russian tradition. He has a deer wish to spiritualize each touch to any kind of the material either canvas or wood, paper or paints.

The main subjects of his works of art are time, human being, nature and space.

Leonid Feoder's paintings and drawings were bought by museums of Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Salsk, Board of Directors of Ministry of Culture, All - Russia Museum of decorative-applied and national arts (Moscow), galleries in Turkey, Bulgaria. Some of his works are in private collections in Moscow, Saint - Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Germany (Munich, Dortmund), Poland (Lodz), Turkey, France, Morocco, Bulgaria. (Some works 're displayed in the Zerhusen Gallery of Modern Arts "Art - Marketing" (Moscow), "Sovart" Gallery (Moscow).
