Sostra II. Research of the Roman Roadside Station and Castle on the Road Escus - Pfilippopol

The second volume of the “Sostra. Investigations of the Roman way station and fortress on the Oescus-Philippopolis road” series represents the most recent results from the investigation of the archaeological site, situated in the surroundings of the present village of Lomets. The author stresses on the defensive system of the fortress, its layout and building history.
