Petеr Stoyanovich (born 1967 in Sofia, Bulgaria) is a long-time scholar of monarchies in the 19th and 20th centuries, the relations between Central and Southeastern Europe, and the Europeanization of the Balkans. He holds a PhD from the University of Vienna. Peter Stoyanovich is Professor of Modern History at
the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and President of
the Bulgarian Royal Historical Society at the Vrana Palace.
